A mum of four grown up kids, (two girls & two boys), April has been at WWL for over twenty-five years. Born in Cornwall, England, she left at 18 to travel around Australia for six months. Six months turned into twelve years in Australia, & then over twenty five in NZ.
April is our resident ACC specialist, PAYE & Employer expert, which includes full bureau services for many of our clients. April’s days usually includes preparing wages, filing PAYE Returns, preparing employment agreements, reviewing annual ACC levies & advising clients on various employment issues.
A highlight of working at WWL for April has been all the changes she has seen in the past twenty two years & all the people she has met. As well, the “advancement in technology and the obvious benefits that has, on an organisation such as ours and our clients.” In the next year, she is looking forward to learning more about technology & cloud-based services, ensuring that we become even more efficient with our services.
